I totally think making it legal for 16 year old to be involved in prostitution is "child abuse". My grandmother married at the age of 14 and that was the norm for that time and that culture. The only establishments I "agree" with are the well-paid ones with the more expensive and good-looking call girls, at least then you's know that they are there by choice, are clean and tested regularly, and would put on a good show. I can't see why anyone would go to some langstrasse back alley for a CHF quickie with some grubby scutter who would rather be anywhere else, eugh. The author failed to mention several myths constantly repeated by anti-prostitution activists: That would mean the police would be finding whole armies of grade school prostitutes, something obviously not true.
How often do they find a slave? By the nature of their work prostitutes interact with large numbers of people in private. There are a huge number of opportunities to request help, or to simply escape through a back window. Are all johns so hard-hearted that they would ignore a plea for help, and never say anything to police? Since when do slaves have professional organizations? Most real slaves are domestic servants or farm workers. This is because domestic servants and farm workers can be kept isolated from the general public, unlike prostitutes. The police manage to find these slaves even though the police hardly ever raid farms or private dwellings. The police frequently raid brothels and yet they hardly ever find sex slaves.
