On Sunday night at the evening show in the Theater, my girlfriend had gone to the toilet and I was approached by a young man who asked if I wanted to have some "time with him".
I was absolutely shocked and appalled as the resort is a family resort and the theater was still occupied with children. It was blatantly evident that the hotel staff were endorsing this activity and turned a blind eye. When we checked-in the receptionist insisted that we pay up-front and with cash.
She would not accept a credit card. We had to use all our cash that we had planned to spend on other activities like Scuba Diving, Snorkeling etc. Moreover, this is the first time I've ever had to pay for a room at check-in. There were no porters to help us with our baggage and we had to walk a considerable distance from reception to our room unassisted with our heavy bags. Although we had requested and booked a double room we were given a twin room and the beds were very small. The finish in the bathroom was terrible.
Putty and plaster smeared all over the tiling. The bath drain was blocked and the shower head was not working. It took 1 hour for the plumber to fix the shower head and he didn't fix the drain. Every time we took a shower, the bath tub started Every time we took a shower, the bath tub started to flood.
There are two options for food at the resort. You can dine at the Buffet or at one of the on-site restaurants. Despite there being 3 restaurants, they were all permanently booked out. The food at the Buffet was very basic and extremely fatty.
