If you want a nice family oriented hotel, may I recommend the Dan Carlton. The Dan is a real family hotel with a touch of elegance, while the Bogota Plaza behaves more like a brothel. The good news is condoms are readily available at the Plaza and the very first thing your family sees when they enter the bathroom in your room. I personally saw 3 prostitutes come in to the hotel as I was checking into my room with my family it was a little past This used to be a nice hotel, but due to lots of hotel room surplus in Bogota, they seem to have found a new niche on how to make money.
Also, as I mentioned my family and I were checking in a little after As we had not been to Bogota in a few years, a family member came to visit us that evening my brother in-law. We were promptly told that ANY guest coming in after They missed telling us that we could pay for the room by the hour!

That was a wonderful stay. The Dan had nicer rooms for less money and more class! With all due respect we consider your criticism a little disrespectful towards our visitors. The Hotel Bogota Plaza, is a hotel that respects the privacy of our guests. As a hotel we comply with the security standards that the law requires and that we consider necessary, in the case of "prostitutes", it is not us who can give the ladies you mentioned that qualification, for us they are people invited by a guest of the hotel, we think they do not deserve that denomination without knowing if they are or not what you call them.
As for the condoms in the room, these are part of the bathroom amenities, the Bogota Plaza Hotel does not discriminate beliefs of education, religious or politics, and the guest is in full right to withdraw them from the room. In every hotel if someone comes to visit after 10pm, you will be charged. Even in the other hotel that you mentioned.
